Vibe coding plugins, Divi design system, brand tax, rank on ChatGPT, 49 MB Web page, Facebook payouts and Guinness pour fail. I had to help a new client last week with some severe issues with their Web site. Their hosting company had upsold them on a security package they didn’t need and it included a firewall that blocked basic functionality on the Web site. When I say basic, they were unable to edit any pages on the site. Even worse, the hosting originally claimed the firewall didn’t exist. We finally got the firewall turned off and payment for it has been cancelled going forward. The site works great now and the client will save money by not paying for something they never needed. This is just one more example of why it can be good to work with a Web professional to handle your site. You’ll definitely save yourself stress and you might even save money. Make sure to check out all of this week’s news in the stories below.
